Bartłomiej Malarz Choreography
My experience is based on 7 years of professional activity in choreography for ballet company, professional and pre-professional dancers. The movement language I developed connects neoclassical and contemporary background with huge impact of yoga and floor work. My works always relate to nature and are contained in a fluid and metaphysical landscape. I follow this path to excite my audience’s eyes, hearts and minds. I hope to inspire and deliver a moving and aesthetic experience.

Mushoku / Bezbarwność

Mushoku (無色) means “colourlessness” in Japanese. This choreography is inspired by Haruki Murakami’s novel Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage and the tension between colour and absence in emotions and human relationships. Colour reveals the intensity and the shades imprinted in memory. Colourlessness is a moment of invisibility where the boundaries of identity blur. The body becomes a canvas, where movement leaves traces of presence and disappearance. The music emerges from the sound of paint dripping into the water — a fleeting moment where form and colour merge before dissolving. The Focus Limit transcends viewers through the borders of various sensations and emotions, exploring the concept of sharpness in its most diverse aspects. It is a portrayal that combines precision, emotion, and abstraction, creating a profound sense of journey through the world of individuals who mark the delicate edges of their existence. Audiences are drawn to the boundaries between light and shadow, where the dancers’ movements reveal the contrasts and intricacies of life. Sharpness is not only a physical attribute here but also a profound emotional experience. The choreography underscores the importance of surpassing personal limitations, discovering new possibilities, and overcoming the boundaries between different aspects of human existence. In this choreography, subtle touches become a fusion of soul and body, while movements express the struggle between our desires and reality, as our perception seeks the ideal resolution of life.

Each of us sends our unique energy. Proximity occurs when the frequencies of different objects are similar. We send signals to others and we sense them from the environment ourselves. We have becomereceivers that collect impulses from a world that has become difficult for us.We are immersed in the flowing transmission of thoughts, senses and information as well as fake news that flood our reality dependent on access to range. We switch between channels, travelling through an infinite network of connections and relationships and, that collapse as suddenly and unexpectedly as they they appear. Like souls, their particles vibrate and disintegrate into the nothingness of other frequencies, falling without reception.

Last Water Dance

Last Water Dance is a poetic reflection on the final five drops of water dancing across a melting world. Each drop embodies the silent collapse of ancient glaciers—once monumental, now vanishing. Their movements echo the slow breath of ice cracking, the sudden rush of meltwater, and the fragile balance between stillness and flow. This choreography captures the fading presence of glaciers, portraying their memory through motion: delicate, raw, and irreversible. It is a farewell to the frozen giants, danced in whispers and fractures, as the last remnants slip away into time.

Solaris

For Youth Spirit of Dance / COPERNIC 550 – performances in Poland and Japan
Solaris is a choreography inspired by Nicolaus Copernicus’ heliocentric theory, placing the Sun—not the Earth—at the center of the universe. The movement reflects a shift in perspective, a cosmic awakening. Dancers orbit an invisible core, embodying gravitational forces, planetary rhythms, and the pulse of the universe. “Solaris” becomes a poetic tribute to light, motion, and the bold reimagining of our place in the cosmos.

Moving Sands

Moving Sands is a choreography that draws from the metaphor of shifting sands — unstable ground that resists control, yet invites surrender. The dancers move through constantly changing dynamics, embodying the tension between resistance and release. Like quicksand, the movement pulls inward, blurring the line between safety and danger, balance and collapse. The piece explores the emotional landscape of uncertainty, where every step may lead to transformation or disappearance. It is a reflection on fragility, adaptation, and the human need to find stability in an ever-changing world. Moving Sands invites the viewer into a world where nothing is fixed, yet everything is in motion.
